SMR Steps Up To Help Buckman Motocross Track
Daniel Coriz is needing some support in effort to make some track upgrades to the Buckman Motocross Track here in Santa Fe, NM. SMR went out the facility last weekend in effort to put together a short film showcasing the property and encouraging local support. Expect more news on the track next week here on the site.

Buckman Motocross Track Support
The Buckman Motocross Track is located on Open Space in the Northwest Quadrant in Santa Fe. The track was built in 1968 and has become a historic motorcycle site. In the late 90’s, one third of the track was destroyed due to development, which is currently Relief Route 599. Today the motorcycle community has begun rebuilding the old track to a riding condition. In addition, a mini bike course is being developed. The City of Santa Fe has recognized the track and is bordering our limits for official Open Space use. It will be an off road motorized atv site designated for motorcycles.
With your support you will embrace a positive role for motorcycle users of all ages. Rebuilding the motocross track will demonstrate how active our community involvement in Santa Fe really is. Sport atv and motocross enthusiasts will finally have a place of their own to ride. The ability of staying in town and riding a motocross track will sprout a new generation and mature current users.
The motorcycle riding community is respectfully accepting donations to finish the rebuild of our motocross track. Due to the lack of professional equipment, the process has taken more than two years. We are trying to raise $2000 for the rentals of tractors, water and a builder. Your support will be recognized in Parks and Open Space public meetings and a letter will be sent to The New Mexican showing your community efforts. All funds collected and spent will be inventoried. All donors will receive a copy of receipts and will be updated with all progress and completion of the Buckman Motocross Track.
